Luxury home appliance and electronics brand LG Signature has renewed its partnership with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO), for the second year running.
Known for high-end, innovative electronics, LG Signature has long been a supporter of the arts, both classical and digital.
The brand recently collaborated with German artist Tobias Rehberger at the Frieze London 2022 art fair, to produce Into the Maze, a labyrinth of geometric patterns which integrated LG Signature OLED TVs (pictured below).
The first iteration of the Maze art installation was seen at the 2009 Venice Biennale. Rehberger said he was inspired by the dazzle painting camouflage technique developed for battleships by British artists during WW1.

“During the first year of our partnership, the RPO and LG Signature worked collaboratively to realise the synergies that already existed and built on our mutual desire to use the arts to help people come together and heal during challenging times,” said Huw Davies, Deputy MD of the RPO.
“We look forward to another inspiring and successful season, working together to share great art and culture, whilst improving wellbeing and creating stronger and more inclusive communities.’’
LG Signature became a corporate partner of the RPO in 2022, to celebrate its 75th anniversary season. For 2023, the band remains a major sponsor, and Vasily Petrenko, the Orchestra’s lauded musical director, will continue as an LG Signature global brand ambassador.
“The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra shares our core philosophy and commitment to enriching people’s lives through excellence,” said Bumseop Lee, President of LG Electronics UK.
“We both strive to create original, memorable and beautiful experiences that strike the perfect balance between tradition and innovation. Our LG Signature brand is rooted in these values and this is why we are proud to continue support for the arts worldwide and strengthen our relationship with the globally renowned Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for the second year running.”
