Ready Player 123: The W London moves up a level as it opens first luxury gaming suite

Youtube gamer Vikkstar 123 at the W Hotel London

YouTube gaming sensation Vikkstar123 has christened the W London’s first ever luxury gaming hotel suite, appropriately with Warzone 2.0.

Vikkstar123 rose to fame as a member of YouTube group, The Sidemen (along with KSI, Miniminter, Zerkaa, TBJZL, Behzinga, and W2S).

In a contemporary twist to the usual luxury hospitality offering, this new suite in the five star Marriott owned property features a leading-edge gaming rig and comes with a DigiValet offering a specialised ‘brain food’ menu, which includes chicken or tofu baos, DIRTEA mushroom sliders and protein balls.

This is the first high-end hotel and gaming collaboration we’ve come across, and we’re wondering if it could start a trend. The installed hardware is certainly impressive. The gaming suite is decked out with Samsung’s 55-inch Odyssey Ark QLED screen, a next-gen Xbox console, and CyberPower gaming PC, plus a lush Secret Lab TITAN Evo chair. Peripherals have been supplied by Hyper X.

The gaming suite can be booked for an overnight stay, with in-room dining and personalised touches. There’s no guarantee you’ll leave your stay as a gaming professional, but it’ll sure be fun to try.

The W London is already renowned for its designer suites, and if you need to take a screen break, cocktails await in the Perception bar, which overlooks Leicester Square.

The W London Gaming Suite is available as a package from November through to April 2023, with prices starting at £1,500

Amazingly, Highland Park had recreated the sights, sounds and smells of the islands with an installation on the Thames, specifically at London’s only lighthouse, The…
