The guitarwrist partners with Gibson for rock & roll charity jewellery collection

Gibson bracelet jewellery from guitarwrist on a leather jacket

Sustainable rock ‘n’ roll jewellery brand The guitarwrist has partnered with legendary musical instrument maker Gibson to produce a range of jewellery made from strings donated by the Gibson London showroom.

Each item is handmade by Emma Hedley Jewellery and Breakbeat Jewellery, and encompasses various styles of bracelet, ring, necklace, and earrings, all with a Gibson tag.

The items come in a luxury hard shell presentation case, in the classic Gibson guitar case colours of brown and pink crushed velvet; every piece has a Certificate of Authentication with serial number.

The Gibson Gives Collection line sits alongside similar jewellery derived from the guitar strings sourced from a wide range of popular bands, all ideal for fans and gift giving.

Artists donate used strings for upcycling when they come to restring. Profits from the jewellery go to the artist’s charity of choice.

To date, the not for profit operation has raised over £100,000 for over 50 charities and saved more than 9,000 sets of strings from ending up in landfills.

Musicians who have joined The guitarwrist initiative include Guns N’ Roses, Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Stereophonics, Halestorm, Luke Combs, Duran Duran’s John Taylor and Sam Fender.
