Swifties get double drop: two Taylor Swift Eras Tour projects coming to Disney+ this December

Taylor Swift coming to Disney+

Taylor Swift fans aren’t getting a quiet end to 2025. Disney+ has confirmed not one but two Swift specials landing on the platform from December 12, giving UK subscribers front-row access to the final act of her cultural takeover.

First up is Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era, a six-part docuseries diving behind the scenes of her record-breaking stadium tour. Expect candid moments, creative insight and contributions from tour collaborators and famous friends including Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran and Florence Welch. Disney+ will drop two episodes a week from launch day, providing a steady dose of Swiftmania through the festive season.

Arriving the same day is Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show, a full concert film captured at the last stop of the tour in Vancouver. It’s also the first time the ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ era appears on film, following its addition to the tour in 2024.

Expect candid moments, creative insight and contributions from tour collaborators and famous friends…

The projects follow hot on the heels of Swift’s latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, , the artist’s twelfth studio album. Conceived during the European leg of her Eras Tour, and recorded in Sweden with longtime collaborators Max Martin and Shellback,  the album draws on her relationship with Travis Kelce, her fiancé, and her experience as a global pop icon.

The album shifted 4 million album units in its first week, surpassing Adele’s 25 for the biggest debut since 1991.

Between the docuseries and the full concert experience, Disney+ is clearly positioning itself as the streaming home of Taylor Swift, offering fans a deluxe wrap-up to what has been one of the biggest pop culture events of the decade.
