London’s most famous music street is once again throwing open its doors, as Denmark Street Sessions returns for a full day of bands, banter, pop-ups and parties.
Returning for a second year on Saturday September 5, the shindig brings live music, conversations and creative happenings back to one of London’s best known rock ‘n’ roll destinations.
Denmark Street has quite a history. It’s where David Bowie evolved into Ziggy Stardust, where the Sex Pistols once lived and where the Rolling Stones and Black Sabbath recorded their first albums. Sessions aims to celebrate that legacy, giving space to the artists shaping what comes next.
The event will spread across Regent Sounds Studios, Thirteen LDN, Wunjo, The Lower Third, Roland, Beautifully Romanticised Accidentally Traumatized, Rough Trade, Sixty Ink and Dawsons.
Visitors can expect more than 20 live performances, alongside talks featuring artists, writers, heritage figures and industry voices. There will also be pop-up appearances, secret guests and an after-party if you’re still standing at the end of the night.

The Dash at Denmark Street Sessions
The daytime programme will focus on conversations and intimate performances, before the street’s venues take over for an evening of live music. Marshall will support the event with backline across the programme.
The Dash will reform for one night only, performing just feet from the site of their first ever show. The London underground indie rockers are promising the sort of sweaty, high-energy set that sounds entirely appropriate for the occasion.
“From buying your first guitar to taking it on stage, Denmark Street is a central hub for grass roots live music,” said Marc Hayward, onstage guitarist for Black Sabbath The Ballet and frontman of The Dash.
“Personally, it’s been a driving force throughout my life, and I can’t wait to bring The Dash back to where we first started out. The second year for Sessions is set to be an amazing day full of free music, talks and good vibes.”
Who’s playing at Denmark Street Sessions
Among the other artists appearing this year is Eaves Wilder, who will perform at Rough Trade. Her songwriting draws on influences ranging from 1960s Motown and the Beatles to the left-field pop of Lily Allen and the energy of the riot grrrl movement.
Piano rocker Henri Herbert will play at Roland, while Regent Sounds Studios will host performances from Esme White, 8 Before Ava and Elsie Franklin. The venue will also stage a talk with Crispin Weir exploring why Denmark Street remains such an important home for British music.
Elsewhere, Cam & Friends will play at Dawsons, while Rough Trade will host Smokeshow. Wunjo Guitars will welcome Moondusty and Moon Music Orchestra, with further performances and happenings spread across the street.
Thirteen LDN will take the programme into the evening, with rock and roll DJ Claudio Traina of Sixty Ink on the decks. Underground hotspot dial8 will also host a discussion titled The Art of Making the Moment, bringing together music photographers to explore the visual language behind some of the most famous images in music history.
The night will close with Pink Juice, returning to Sessions as this year’s headline act at Thirteen LDN. The Midlands collective blends British rock ‘n’ roll, 1990s hip-hop and electronic textures with the warmth and groove of 1970s soul.
Denmark Street Sessions takes place on Saturday 5 September 2026, from 1pm until late. Entry is free across all participating venues, so the only real challenge may be deciding where to be when two interesting things are happening at once.
