With a nod to his rock & roll lifestyle with The Faces, Sir Rod Stewart is launching his own whisky. Wolfie’s Whisky is a blended Scotch with a hell raising heritage and a dash of Americana.
“Wolfie’s is a rascal of a thing and with just a sip takes you back to the good old days. Fine-tuned and perfectly balanced, Wolfie’s is a delight both over ice and mixed into a favourite cocktail,” croons Rod.
“It’s a fine tipple, whether you’re partying with friends, celebrating a Celtic win or reminiscing with family. For me, Wolfie’s depicts the carefree behaviour of my more mischievous days and the excitement of what life still has to offer – let the good times roll!”

Bottled at 40% ABV, Wolfie’s Blended Scotch Whisky proffers cinnamon, vanilla and baked apple on the nose, then sweet peat and pears in syrup take the stage. It encores with candied citrus peel and oak spice.
The liquid is distilled, blended, and bottled by Loch Lomond Distillery.
The packaging references the opening track from Rod’s 1991 album Vagabond Heart, with lyrics from ‘Rhythm of My Heart’ on the base of the bottle. Rod’s recording of the song was an acknowledgement of his own Scottish heritage having adapted the melody from the traditional folk song, Loch Lomond.
Rod Stewart isn’t the first rocker to launch his own whisky brand. Bob Dylan has Heaven’s Door, a range of premium craft whiskeys.
Wolfie’s will be available to buy online in the UK for £35 from June 19. Fans that sign up beforehand are in with a chance of getting one of 1,000 bottles that have been signed by the singer. An American release for Wolfie’s will follow later this year.

The debut bottling arrives as the Crǣft Series, a collection of three single cask whiskies that offer an early glimpse…

Mystery Malt has returned for its sixth instalment, and according to its creators at Thompson Brothers, it is the biggest release yet. The concept remains delightfully simple: every whisky bottle looks identical, costs the same £65, and arrives concealed beneath a tamper-proof capsule.
