Barcelona-based car brand Hispano Suiza has delivered its first electric hypercar to a grateful car collector in the US.
Entrepreneur Michael Fux became the first owner of a Carmen Boulogne, at the 27th edition of the Amelia Island Concours d ‘Elegance, a high-profile automotive event held last week in Florida.
The fully electric Carmen Boulogne is capable of developing 1,114 hp, courtesy of four electric engines housed on its rear wheels. The vehicle has been customised by the Hispano Suiza design department in Barcelona, to Fux’s preferences, including a distinctive paint job.

The Spanish hypercar is resplendent in Ocean Song Rose, a purple tone inspired by Fux’s favourite flower, the Ocean Song rose, which he sent from Miami to the brand’s Design department, so that they could reproduce the same hue on the bodywork.
All the panels that shape its bodywork are in carbon fibre with a layer of Alutex. This finish is combined with Birkigt White colour design details, that complete its livery.
Polished aluminium alloy wheels are distinguished by accents, monoblock nuts painted to match the bodywork. The distinctive grille with the Hispano Suiza logo is finished in a contrasting high-gloss black.
The interior is covered in Birkigt White leather, again to contrast with the purple tones of the bodywork. The name of the model, Boulogne, is embroidered on the headrests.
Fux says one of his earliest memories was sitting on his grandfather’s lap while in his car, a 1940s Chrysler. He has since amassed an extensive collection of exotic sports vehicles, all preserved in his no doubt cavernous garage.
One of Italy’s most legendary wine dynasties is taking over a Belgravia pub for one night only – and the menu sounds outrageously good. On Thursday 4 June, Prince Arthur will partner with iconic Italian wine producer Marchesi Antinori for an intimate tasting dinner pairing some of Tuscany’s most celebrated wines with a decadent Basque-inspired…
Drinks retailer Hackstons has acquired a collection of exceptionally rare American whiskies, bringing together some of the most elusive bourbons and rye whiskeys currently circulating within the global secondary spirits market. The Knightsbridge-based specialist described the acquisition as a “once in a lifetime” grouping of so-called unicorn bottles, with the line-up featuring highly allocated expressions…
Dr Ducu’s name has a way of coming up. In changing rooms. In your newsfeed. In group chats. His reputation rests on a specific kind of result – the kind where people can’t quite put their finger on what’s changed, only that something has, and that you look incredible for it. So when I found…
