Back to vinyl: Roberts unveils limited edition Amy Winehouse turntable

Roberts Amy Winehouse vinyl turntable in a retro living room setting

British audio brand Roberts has unveiled a limited edition Amy Winehouse themed vinyl turntable, in collaboration with the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Released on the anniversary of the singer’s success at the 2008 Grammy Awards, production of the Roberts RT200 x Amy Edition record deck is limited to just 50 models, each individually numbered.

The deck features engravings of the singer’s signature and her heart-shaped doodles, recognisable as one of her many tattoos. The Amy Winehouse Foundation will receive a percentage of turntable sales.

Winehouse was a fan of Roberts retro-style gear. Her pink Roberts Revival radio is currently on display at the Amy: Beyond the Stage exhibit at the Design Museum.

Inspired by the artist’s drawings and sketches, the turntable features engravings of the singer’s signature and heart-shaped doodles…

The turntable is the first of several launched planned as part of the Roberts x Amy Collection. We’re told that fans can look forward to a limited-edition collaboration on a Roberts model that the star owned herself, inspired by her iconic style.

Jane Winehouse, Managing Trustee at the Amy Winehouse Foundation said: “We are delighted to be commemorating Amy’s life and career whilst raising funds for the Amy Winehouse Foundation through such a unique partnership. Roberts was very close to Amy’s heart and truly expressed her retro style; we know Amy’s fans will love and cherish this design for years to come.”

The Limited Edition Roberts RT200 x Amy Edition turntable is available from RobertsRadio.com, priced £449.99.
