The original limited series Pam & Tommy, retelling the stormy marriage between Baywatch and Barb Wire star Pamela Anderson and Mötley Crüe rocker Tommy Lee, will debut on February 2 2022 on Disney+ under the Star banner, with a three episode premiere.
The celebrity pair hit the headlines when an unauthorized sex tape, recorded privately during their honeymoon, came to market.
The show stars Lily James as Pamela Anderson, and Sebastian Stan as Tommy Lee, with a supporting cast featuring Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), Taylor Schilling (Orange is the New Black) and Seth Rogen.
The series is executive produced by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver and Alex McAtee at Point Grey, and Megan Ellison, Sue Naegle and Ali Krug at Annapurna. Launched in 2011, Point Grey is also the production company behind The Boys, upcoming animated spin-off Diabolical, and the Showtime comedy Black Monday, which has just wrapped its third season.
Pam & Tommy is written by executive producers Rob Siegel and DV DeVincentis, and directed by executive producer Craig Gillespie. Dylan Sellers, Dave Franco, Chip Vucelich and Sarah Gubbins also serve as executive producers.
