Reflecting an uplift in demand for skippered yacht charters, SailSterling has announced new fully-crewed catamaran itineraries in Greece, for summer 2021, COVID travel restrictions permitting.
Prices for a seven night charter of the Lagoon 630, sleeping eight people, fully catered with skipper and crew starts from £3,680 per person.
The launch itinerary, The Greek Cyclades, starts from Mykonos and combines stops at the popular island of Sifnos known by many as the birthplace of Greek cuisine. Also included on the itinerary are stops at the lesser-known islands of Serifos and Kythnos with both islands offering secluded beaches and coves, many of which are only accessible from the sea.
“We’ve seen a dramatic shift towards skippered catamaran charter from customers eager to try a boating holiday…”
Spectacular Naxos – one of the stops on the Greek Cyclades itinerary
Richard Osei, co-founder of SailSterling said: “Greece was one of the first destinations we featured for bareboat charter. We’ve seen a dramatic shift towards skippered catamaran charter from customers eager to try a boating holiday. The pandemic has created a new breed of holiday-maker looking for private villas and deserted islands, with skippered yachts and catamarans falling into that bracket.”
“Our private catamaran charters in Greece give our guests the assurance of their own private space, a full crew and our recommended route, but they have the flexibility to deviate from this under the guidance of our skippers.”
The Greek Cyclades itinerary starts from £3,680 per person based on eight sharing a Lagoon 630 in four double, ensuite cabins. The seven night itinerary includes skipper, chef, food and drinks on board and all associated catamaran and mooring costs. Other Lagoon catamarans are available in varying sizes on request. International flights are not included.
