Scandi minimalism meets innovative Bluetooth Hi-Fi
The Balance is a bookshelf design, designed as two components: an oak wood base with Kvadrat fabric enclosure on top. Inside there’s a downward firing bass driver, upward-firing woofer, three midrange drivers and a pair of tweeters.
Intended to be positioned up against the wall, on a shelf or side table, the Balance can deliver an omnidirectional or forward firing soundstage.
As we’ve seen on the Beousound A9, the speaker features touch sensitive controls to control volume, change tracks, play or pause. A proximity sensor lights up the interface when you approach.
The connected gadget supports voice control support for Google Assistant, with Amazon Alexa and Apple Airplay 2 updates planned for later in the year. The Beosound Balance can also be used as part of a B&O multiroom ecosystem.
