DJI has unveiled the Osmo Pocket 4P, a compact gimbal camera that brings professional filmmaking features to a device small enough to slip into a jacket pocket.
Headlined by an all-new dual-camera system, this latest Pocket model, available in black or pearl white, offers travellers, content creators and enthusiasts greater creative flexibility without the need to rely on interchangeable lenses or bulky camera equipment.
The Pocket series combines a miniature three-axis mechanical gimbal with a high-quality camera for remarkably smooth handheld footage. The Osmo Pocket 4P builds on that, introducing DJI’s first dual-lens design, with a dedicated portrait lens joining its primary wide-angle camera.
The result is a camera capable of capturing landscapes one moment and close-up portraits the next, all at the touch of the screen.

DJI Osmo Pocket 4P camera features
At the heart of the Osmo Pocket 4P is a newly developed 1-inch CMOS sensor paired with a 20mm equivalent f/2.0 wide-angle lens.
DJI says the sensor delivers an impressive 17 stops of dynamic range, allowing the camera to preserve detail in both bright highlights and deep shadows. That level of latitude is typically associated with professional camera equipment, making the Pocket 4P particularly well suited to difficult lighting conditions such as sunsets, city skylines after dark and strongly backlit subjects.
Alongside the primary camera sits a new 60mm equivalent medium telephoto lens with a bright f/1.8 aperture. Offering up to 3x optical zoom and 12x total zoom, it’s designed specifically for portrait photography and video, producing a naturally compressed perspective and softly blurred backgrounds that separate subjects from their surroundings.
Video capability has also taken a significant step forward. The Osmo Pocket 4P records at up to 4K resolution at 240 frames per second, enabling dramatic eight-times slow-motion playback while maintaining Ultra HD resolution.
New creative modes include Slow Shutter Video, which captures flowing movement and light trails, while photographers can shoot 37-megapixel stills that offer ample scope for cropping and reframing during editing.
As expected, image stabilisation remains central to the experience. The company’s latest three-axis mechanical gimbal is joined by an upgraded ActiveTrack 8.0 system that can automatically follow people, pets, vehicles and other moving subjects.
