Disney has used the San Diego Comic-Con to look towards another established fantasy franchise with fresh details surrounding the third season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

The new season will arrive on Disney+ on November 20 and adapts The Titan’s Curse, the third novel in Rick Riordan’s bestselling series. For the first time, this chapter of Percy’s story makes the leap to the screen, raising the stakes as Annabeth disappears and an ancient prophecy begins to dictate the future of Olympus itself.

Series stars Walker Scobell, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Tamara Smart, Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie joined executive producers Dan Shotz and Craig Silverstein on stage before surprising the audience with the opening sequence from the new season’s premiere.

A video message from Leah Sava Jeffries, currently filming The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen, completed a lively Comic Con panel that balanced fan service with genuine anticipation for what lies ahead.

Outside Hall H, Disney expanded the experience further with an immersive Percy Jackson attraction that allows visitors to follow the paths of Percy, Annabeth or Thalia through a mythology-inspired environment packed with clues, Easter eggs and exclusive Camp Half-Blood collectibles.
