Air France is bringing a taste of Paris to London Heathrow with the opening of its new lounge in Terminal 4.

Open daily from 5am until 10pm, the 750-square-metre facility seats almost 150 guests and is available to La Première, Business and Flying Blue Elite Plus customers, alongside eligible travellers flying with KLM and other SkyTeam partner airlines.

Designed in-house by Air France in collaboration with MARKS Brandimage, the lounge reflects the carrier’s unmistakably French aesthetic. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the runways fill the space with natural light, while shades of blue, crisp white and subtle touches of red echo the airline’s visual identity. displaying its logo, the winged seahorse, Air France’s historic symbol, as well as a selection of posters illustrating its rich heritage.

Furniture has been selected from leading French designers, including Margaux Keller, Pierre Paulin, Patrick Jouin and Christophe Pillet.

Inside Air France’s new Heathrow lounge

The centrepiece of the new lounge is an open dining area serving French-inspired cuisine. Menus change according to the time of day, and feature both hot and cold dishes, sweet and savoury options, and vegetarian choices, (among the opening highlights is a traditional beef bourguignon), while the adjoining bar, staffed by a bartender, serves champagne alongside a selection of French wines and spirits.

Menus prioritise local and seasonal ingredients where possible, with measures designed to reduce food waste and improve recycling. Water dispensers are available throughout the lounge to help minimise the use of single-use plastics.

One of the more distinctive additions is a dedicated Clarins wellness area. Launching July 13, passengers can book one of three complimentary beauty treatments, including Anti Jet-Lag, L’Instant Detox and Focus Regard. Each session is delivered by Clarins therapists using the company’s plant-based skincare products and signature massage techniques, offering travellers a welcome opportunity to unwind before take-off.

Passengers travelling in La Première enjoy an even more exclusive experience. A private lounge within the lounge has been modelled on the airline’s long-haul La Première suite, offering just five seats, runway views, personalised dining and access to an exclusive ‘Destination Relaxation’ treatment from Clarins.

Flying Blue Ultimate members also benefit from their own dedicated area, providing additional privacy while remaining close to the lounge’s dining, working and relaxation facilities.

Elsewhere, guests will find quiet zones for resting, dedicated workspaces, complimentary Wi-Fi, plentiful charging points and access to digital editions of French and international newspapers and magazines through the Air France Press app. Self-service eligibility kiosks at the entrance are designed to make access quick and straightforward.

The opening comes as Air France continues to strengthen its presence at Heathrow. This summer, the airline is operating up to six daily services between London Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle.
