Introducing Royalton Vessence Barbados: All-Inclusive escape to offer art, music, and premium perks

royalton-vessence coming to barbados

A fresh approach to the all-inclusive holiday is on the horizon, and it answers to the name Royalton Vessence.

Created by Royalton Luxury Resorts, Royalton Vessence is a new brand tailored for grown-ups who crave more than sun loungers and poolside cocktails. It’s aimed squarely at the modern, mindful traveller, the kind who values experiences over extravagance, and finds luxury in authenticity, connection, and a great sunset jazz set.

The first property under the new banner will open in Summer 2026, reimagining the existing Royalton CHIC Barbados as Royalton Vessence Barbados, an Autograph Collection all-inclusive resort for adults only. Set on the Platinum Coast, it promises a laid-back blend of style, calm, and cultural immersion.

This isn’t just a rebrand with fresh paint. Royalton Vessence Barbados is being reinvented from the ground up to reflect the spirit of the island and its guests. Think curated interiors with locally inspired design, rotating exhibitions from regional artists, and suites styled to balance refined comfort with a deep sense of place. The standout Chairman Suites will double as art spaces, with sweeping views and bespoke pieces.

For those who enjoy the elevated touches, the Diamond Club tier offers the full VIP treatment: butler service, access to exclusive areas, and premium perks.

At the heart of the resort will be The Studio, a signature space that doubles as creative lab and low-key performance venue. It’s where guests can get hands-on with pottery, culinary workshops or expressive art by day, and kick back with live acoustic music by night.

Wellness comes with a twist, too. Royalton’s Moddo FIT programme combines yoga, breathwork, and movement sessions with an island soul. Then there’s the glow-lit pool, said to be a first for the region, which stays open after dark for moonlit swims under the stars.

For those needing a complete break, digital detox zones are purpose-built for disconnecting from screens and reconnecting with your surroundings. The property even throws in a complimentary airport shuttle, so you can start relaxing from the moment you land.

As Jordi Pelfort, President of Blue Diamond Resorts, puts it: “From the art on the walls to the music that plays after sunset, it’s all about living the culture without ever having to leave the hotel…”
