Available in three colourways: Infinite Black, Hourglass Sand, and Sunset Apricot, each bringing a different aesthetic. Infinite Black recalls the brand’s classic look, Hourglass Sand embraces Scandinavian minimalism, while Sunset Apricot introduces a fashionable blend of peach and light copper tones.
With sustainability and repairability in mind, the brand has designed the headphones with user-replaceable parts, such as the headband and ear cushions, while critical components like the batteries, drivers, and glass surfaces are all serviceable, ensuring that users can easily repair their headphones rather than replace them.
“We’ve prioritised longevity, maintenance, and repairability through modular design,” says Mads Kogsgaard Hansen, Head of Product Circularity at Bang & Olufsen.
Of course, raw Hi-Fi performance hasn’t been forgotten. 40mm custom-made titanium drivers with support for Hi-Res audio up to 96 kHz / 24 bits.
EarSense technology is also used to tailor sound in real time, based on the unique fit of the headphones on each wearer. This, combined with Spatial Audio optimised for Dolby Atmos, offers an immersive listening experience.
Travelling is also a talent. The Beoplay H100 also boast Bang & Olufsen’s most advanced noise cancellation to date, with 10 studio-grade microphones to mitigate ambient noise and improve voice quality; a transparent listening mode that can be activated with a simple gesture.
Battery life is a generous 35 hours on a full charge, with up to five hours of playback after just five minutes on the wall if you run low when in a hurry.
The Beoplay H100 are available in luxury retail outlets and online from £1,299 ($1,549).
