Indiana-based audio company, Klipsch, hopes to hit the high notes with a new family of Bluetooth wireless speakers, the Music City Series.
This trio of Klipsch portables, comprising Klipsch Austin, Klipsch Nashville, and Klipsch Detroit, takes its inspiration from the legendary artists and musical genres of iconic American music cities. So, whether you’re into Dolly, Kiss, or Taylor, there’s a model to match your musical taste.
The Klipsch Nashville, the first to hit the UK shelves, is the middle child and boasts a dual 2.25-inch driver system with a pair of passive radiators.
Suited for living room, or tour bus, battery life is an impressive 24 hours.

The little Klipsch Austin, paying homage to its namesake’s fame for live music, packs a punch with its single 1.5-inch driver and twin passive radiator array. Super portable, with a 12-hour battery life, it’s the perfect companion for those who live for the thrill of live music experiences.
Big, bold, and boasting a 24-hour battery life, the Klipsch Detroit is the powerhouse of the series. With dual three-inch drivers, a 1-inch tweeter, and quad force-cancelling passive radiators under its 33cm-wide hood, this speaker is designed to make a statement.
Key features include Bluetooth 5.3; a Broadcast Mode able to connect with more than ten Klipsch Broadcast Mode-capable speakers simultaneously, for an immersive sound experience; and built-in microphone. Pause the music, take a call, all without fumbling for your smartphone.
The speakers are dust and waterproof, with an IP67 rating.
The Klipsch Music City Series isn’t just about delivering high-quality portable audio, it’s a celebration of music and culture, we’re told.
“Our Klipsch Music City Series is a celebration of music and culture. We wanted to pay homage to some of the most influential cities that have shaped the world of music, and we did so by crafting speakers that not only sound incredible but also embody the essence of Austin, Nashville, and Detroit,” says Paul Jacobs, President, and CEO of Klipsch.
The Klipsch Nashville will hit UK stores in December, priced at £159, with the Klipsch Austin and Detroit models set to make their grand entrance early 2024, priced at €99 ($99) and €349 ($299) respectively.
