German luxury technology brand Loewe has opened a new concept store at Harrods, placing its TVs, audio products and coffee machines inside one of London’s most prestigious retail destinations.

The landgrab marks another step in the German brand’s international expansion, and its wider ambition to establish itself as a global luxury lifestyle technology business.

Located on the fifth floor of Harrods, the new space promises shoppers an immersive introduction to the Loewe portfolio. The company’s latest screens, audio kit and coffee machines are all presented within a carefully curated retail environment designed to reflect the brand’s focus on craftsmanship and contemporary living.

The launch follows a period of expansion for Loewe. The company has continued to grow its presence in the United States and recently acquired French high-end audio specialist Cabasse. It also broadened its lifestyle ambitions with new products, including the Loewe Leo over-ear headphones, as it develops a portfolio extending beyond the flatscreens that have long defined the brand.

Why Loewe’s Harrods opening matters for the German tech brand

Aslan Khabliev, CEO of Loewe, described the Harrods store as “an important milestone.”

“Opening at Harrods reflects the increasing desirability of the brand within the global luxury landscape,” he said. “This new retail concept is a natural next step in our ambition to establish Loewe within the world’s most prestigious luxury destinations.”

The move also reflects a wider strategy to build physical brand experiences around the Loewe name. The company sees carefully chosen retail partnerships as an important way to connect its engineering heritage with an audience that increasingly views technology as part of the wider interior and lifestyle environment.

“Today’s consumers are looking for products that combine technology, design, craftsmanship, and emotion,” Khabliev added.

“The strategy is to create meaningful brand experiences through carefully selected partnerships that reflect Loewe’s heritage and future vision. Harrods is one of the most iconic luxury destinations in the world and therefore the perfect home for this next chapter.”
