Premium German TV maker Loewe Technology has unveiled a super-sized OLED with a definite sense of style. The latest edition to its bild i series of luxury TVs, the 77-inch bild i.77 dr+, is a tempting proposition.
The set combines Loewe’s signature minimalist design, with a bespoke smart user interface and tech-specs to make home cinema fans drool. The set is finished with a lacquered, fabric-covered back panel and hidden cable routing, so if you use a pedestal stand, it looks good from any angle.
The huge 4k HDR OLED panel supports HLG, HDR 10 and Dolby Vision standards, boasts a finely honed picture processor and has a built-in 1TB hard disk recorder as standard, so you can easily record or live pause TV shows.
It also supports voice commands, useful if you want to access any native TV apps without having to locate its remote control. These include Apple TV+, YouTube, Zattoo, HD+, Netflix, Amazon Prime, DAZN, FIFA+ and Disney+.

You can also integrate the screen into a whole home audio system. Loewe offers options including home cinema sets 553 and 531, the Loewe klang bar5 mr with the klang sub5 or the soundbar Loewe klang bar3 mr. These are compatible with other DTS Play-Fi speakers, as well as Apple AirPlay and Google Cast; additional Loewe klang mr speakers can be hooked up to form a comprehensive multiroom music system.
Onboard amplification is rated at an impressive 1,360 watts of total music power.
The bild i77 can be installed on the wall using the tiltable Loewe wall mount, positioned free-standing on the Loewe floor stand flex, or free-floating using the Loewe floor2ceiling stand.
The latter takes the form of a floor-ceiling rod that can be individually adjusted depending on the ceiling height (up to 2.9m) and the desired TV height position (from 65 cm).
