The ears of F1 fans are sure to prick up at news that Bang & Olufsen has launched a limited-edition of its Beosound Explore portable speaker, in collaboration with two-time F1 World Champion Fernando Alonso.
Available in a navy-blue aluminium finish, with a light blue fabric interior and matching carabiner, the new edition features Fernando Alonso’s signature, laser etched on the upper rim of the speaker, with his driver number, 14, on the pin of the speaker strap – the Spanish driver was 14 when he became Karting World Champion.

A former F1 World Champion, double 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, and 24 Hours Daytona winner, Alonso is currently enjoying a hot streak with the Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One Team, and has become a podium regular this season.
The rugged Beosound Explore Bluetooth speaker features Type 2 anodised aluminium for improved scratch resistance, and has an IP67 certification, allowing it to be submerged in up to 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes. Wireless play time is 27 hours.
