Spinnaker Watches debuts (very!) limited edition Croft 3912 diver with vintage appeal

The Spinnaker Croft 3912 limited edition watch

Spinnaker Watches hopes to tempt collectors with the launch of the Croft 3912 Limited Edition. The new timepiece offers the clean functionality of the ever-popular Croft in a refreshed design, but if you like the look of it you’ll need to move fast – just 150 are being produced.

The Croft 3912 Limited Edition SP-5094 has a vintage inspired dial paired with a beguiling ‘sterile’ bezel, inspired by those used by combat divers in the Seventies. Combat diver missions were measured in hours instead of minutes, so divers saw no need for minute hashmarks, and so preferred a clean bezel, devoid of extraneous markings.

Slim at just 12mm, this elegant diver will pair with any wardrobe. It comes with a 20mm solid stainless steel bracelet, as favoured by French Navy divers in the 1960s, and an elasticated paratrooper-style utility strap.

The case diameter is 39mm, and boasts a scratch resistant sapphire lens with anti-reflective coating. It utilises a Japan Miyota 9039 Automatic movement. It’s water resistant to 15atm.

The limited edition is available in two colourways, Storm and Sea Rust, with the production run split evenly.

The Croft 3912 Limited Edition will sell for £500 when it goes on sale August 19 at Spinnaker-watches.co.uk
