Time after time: Spinnaker debuts Croft Mid-Size dive watch

A trio of Spinnaker Croft Mid-Size dive watches with different straps

Dive watch specialist Spinnaker has launched the Croft Mid-Size, a new 40mm timepiece that downsizes its popular diver. Named after Robert Croft, the renowned free-diver who became the first person to free-dive beyond 200 feet, the new Croft is 3mm smaller than Spinnaker’s current Croft, but echoes the nautical engineering and functionality of its stablemate.

True to form, this Spinnaker looks both comfortable and stylish. Available with either blue or black dials, it features a scratch resistant Sapphire lens  with anti-reflective coating. The hands are doped with Swiss Super-LumiNova.

Powered by a reliable NH35 Japanese Automatic movement, it sports a unidirectional bezel with aluminium plate and screw lock crown. The case is 316L stainless steel, and is 13.8mm thick.

Available with solid stainless steel bracelet or leather strap, the Croft Mid-Size comes in four iterations: Elemental, Regiment Blue, Anchor Black and Nomad. The strap width is an elegant 20mm.

The Croft Mid-Size is available from Spinnaker-watches.co.uk, with prices starting at £220 for the leather strap, and £275 for the bracelet.
