The spirit of old Soho will live on in a new hotel opening planned for 2022. The Broadwick Soho, described rather charmingly as ‘Seventies hedonistic disco pop, meets your eccentric Godmother’s townhouse’, is a 57 room hotel, with a Sicilian inspired restaurant and terrace, rooftop lounge, intimate dining room and speakeasy bar.
Styling is by acclaimed Swedish interior architect Martin Brudnizki, who’s work can be seen in Annabel’s night club in London and the Bellagio in Las Vegas (pictured above). Guests are promised ‘impeccable personalised service in opulent yet cosy surroundings.’
The upper floor will feature a signature wraparound rooftop bar, leading to a terrace that caters for casual dining, cocktails and a carefully curated programme of live music and entertainment.
The eighth-floor dining room, with views over downtown, will host celebrations, events, and weddings, we’re told.

The Broadwick Soho is Brudnizki’s first London hotel project, his style hailed as a perfect match for the neighbourhood: creative, eclectic and exhilarating. His design concept is apparently inspired by Soho’s natural grit and glamour.
David Monson, Broadwick Soho’s General Manager, says the aim is to create an environment that guests will want to return to time and again: “‘To complement the exquisite and characterful interiors at Broadwick Soho, there will be an authentic and genuine culture delivered by our charming employees who truly care,” he says.
