Disney+ has given us our first look at its first Marvel TV show WandaVision. Making its debut on the streaming service, but tied into the wider MCU, it stars Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany as Wanda Maximoff and Vision, two super-powered beings apparently living an idealised suburban life.
The Marvel Studios series, which premiers late 2020, made its debut during the US TV broadcast of the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards.
The show features the pair in a classic American TV sixties sitcom setting, styled after The Dick Van Dyke Show and Bewitched (complete with canned laughter), but the two Avengers quickly suspect that everything is not as it seems.
Teyonah Parris also features as Monica Rambeau, along with Randall Park and Kat Dennings.

Can Marvel translate its cinematic success to TV?
WandaVision is the first of a string of live action Marvel TV spin-offs, including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and Hawkeye, with Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk and Moonknight to follow.
The series will lead into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Marvel’s exploration of its own multiverse.
