Disney is bringing a touch of magic to Silverstone as the British Grand Prix becomes the European stage for its Disney x Formula 1 ‘Fuel the Magic’ campaign.
The partnership between two of the world’s biggest entertainment brands will see Disney transforming parts of Silverstone and central London, through a programme of live events and exclusive merchandise launches aimed squarely at F1 fans.
Previous activations have included Mickey Mouse conducting the fountains at Las Vegas, a Formula 1 display at Shanghai Disneyland and Minnie Mouse waving the chequered flag for an F1 Academy race in Canada.
At Silverstone, the collaboration moves beyond merchandise. Visitors to the circuit can expect appearances from Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse throughout race weekend, while performers from Disney Theatre Group will bring a little West End spectacle to Northamptonshire with special performances inspired by The Lion King and Hercules.
The retail side of the partnership should be impossible to miss. Dedicated Disney x Formula 1 spaces will appear in the Silverstone fan zone and Paddock Club, complete with a themed photo booth and access to exclusive products launched specifically for the British Grand Prix. Away from the circuit, Disney Store’s Oxford Street flagship and the Formula 1 Hub in London will host events, while UNIQLO will stock the collection across four London locations for the first time in the UK.

At the heart of the collaboration is a seven-piece Disney x Formula 1 collection that blends motorsport graphics with some of the Mouse House’s most recognisable characters. Fans can shop the collection at the trackside fanzone, as well as the F1 Hub on Oxford Street and fanatics.co.uk.
Among the standout pieces is the Disney x Formula 1 Velocity Mickey Mouse Quarter Zip Sweatshirt, priced at £140. Featuring oversized Mickey artwork and sporting details inspired by racewear, it’s premium casual wear for fans looking for something more substantial than a standard team T-shirt.
One of the more eye-catching garments in the Disney Store range is the Velocity Mickey Motors Sports Jersey (£125), which leans heavily into American motorsport styling with bold graphics and oversized branding.
Formula 1’s own collection takes a slightly more understated approach. The Mickey Wheel 5 Panel Hat (£47) incorporates Mickey’s silhouette into classic paddock styling, while the Mickey Glow T-Shirt in ivory and the Race Grid T-Shirt in black are both priced at £47 and offer more accessible entry points into the collaboration.
For those looking for outerwear, the Fuel Racing Jacket (£210) delivers a contemporary take on trackside fashion, while the premium Varsity Jacket sits at the top of the collection at £370, reflecting the growing appetite for luxury motorsport apparel beyond official team merchandise.
Accessories are also well represented. The Disney x Formula 1 Velocity Mickey Mouse Crossbody Bag (£70) combines reflective details, embroidered racing graphics and enamel charms.
For collectors of all ages, the Disney x F1 Racing Mickey Mouse Soft Toy (£44.99) is likely to prove popular. Standing 30cm tall, Mickey arrives dressed in a detailed racing suit and helmet.
Smaller collectibles include a Disney x Formula 1 key charm, priced at £30, and a range of exclusive pins available through Disney Store.
The most affordable entry point comes via UNIQLO’s longstanding ‘Magic For All’ partnership with Disney. Its Formula 1 graphic T-shirts in black and white are priced at £19.90 and feature circuit-inspired graphics alongside references to Formula 1 host nations and race venues around the world.
