They say silence is golden, but now that also applies to personal audio, as Bang & Olufsen releases its Beo Grace ultra‑luxury flagship true wireless earphones in a Honey Tone finish. This new metallic colourway offers a rich alternative to the original Natural Aluminium edition.
Positioned as a fusion of high‑end jewellery design and reference‑grade audio engineering, Beo Grace buds are crafted from polished aluminium and housed in a seamless pearl-blasted charging case. They combine tactile coolness with the precision detailing that has long been hallmarks of Bang & Olufsen design.
Kresten Bjørn Krab-Bjerre, Head of Creative at Bang & Olufsen, says the new finish is intended to evoke “comfort and a quiet sense of elegance – like a beautiful sunrise captured in metal,” adding: “It embodies a gentle kind of luxury that is both familiar and radiant. At the same time, it’s versatile, approachable, and refined.”
That’s as maybe. Let’s dig a little deeper…
The Beo Grace earbuds combine tactile coolness with the precision detailing that has long been hallmarks of Bang & Olufsen design…
Luxury audio meets jewellery style
The specification is impressive. Bang & Olufsen Beo Grace earbuds are built around large 12mm titanium drivers, supported by Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (courtesy of a six‑microphone array), an IP57 dust and waterproof rating, and Spatial Audio optimised for Dolby Atmos.
Bang & Olufsen has also updated the oval ear tip shape to improve comfort and sealing during extended listening.
Long life battery engineering is another plus point. Developed in partnership with battery intelligence specialist Breathe, the custom energy management system is said to have exceeded 2,000 charge cycles in internal testing, comfortably beyond the roughly 500 cycles often cited as typical for mainstream consumer electronics.
Users can expect to get 4.5 hours playback with ANC on, up to 17 hours with the charging case. A 5‑minute fast charge will give around 2.5 hours playback.
Bang & Olfusen Beo Grace earbuds in Honey Tone are priced at £1000 (€1200 / $1200).
