Hennessy, the world’s best-selling cognac, is returning to Notting Hill Carnival this year with an expanded celebration of Caribbean culture, launching its first-ever Carnival float plus a vivid limited edition release of Hennessy V.S.
For those who know their eaux-de-vie, this move makes perfect sense. Hennessy’s connection to the Caribbean runs deep, dating back to the early 19th century, when its cognacs first found a devoted following in the region. That bond is now being reaffirmed on the streets of West London, during one of the UK’s most significant cultural events.

This year’s Carnival, taking place across the August Bank Holiday weekend (August 24–25), sees Hennessy partner with one of the participating Mas bands to unveil a bespoke float experience. Visitors can expect an immersive celebration of Caribbean music, dance and community spirit; a chance to experience the warmth and energy of Carnival through the lens of the Maison.
Carnival-goers will also be invited to enjoy the Hennessy Coco Cocktail, a refreshing mix of Hennessy V.S, lime juice and coconut water. The serve is designed to reflect the Caribbean palate and will be offered as part of the brand’s float experience.
To mark the occasion, Hennessy has also re-released its Carnival Limited Edition Hennessy V.S, in 70cl and a new 20cl format. The label swaps the classic gold scrollwork for a feathered motif in bright carnival colours.
The Whisky Exchange has dropped three new exclusive bottlings to mark the start of 2026, spanning Scotch whisky, American bourbon and Jamaican rum. The limited collection comprises an experimental single-cask Torabhaig from the Isle of Skye, a punchy single-barrel bourbon from Bardstown Bourbon Company, and a sherry-cask-aged Hampden Estate rum that leans fully into the…
