New whisky bar at Clydeside Distillery offers curated flights, cocktails and signature drams

Clydeside Distillery whisky bar

Whisky lovers have one more reason to make their way down to the River Clyde. Glasgow’s first dedicated single malt whisky distillery in over a century, has just opened a whisky bar

Since spirit first flowed from its stills in 2017, the Clydeside Distillery has become a popular stop for visitors drawn to its clean Lowland style.

Housed in the former distillery café, the newly refurbished space now offers a warm, contemporary setting to explore its signature drams. Open from 11am to 5.30pm daily, the bar is open to the general public as well as tour guests, making it a compelling option in a cultural quarter that also includes the OVO Hydro and SEC Centre.

The bar menu features an extensive selection of whiskies, anchored by the distillery’s own expressions: Stobcross, the flagship single malt, Napier, and a rotating cast of limited releases, including Voyager Club bottlings available only to members.

Guests can enjoy neat serves, themed tasting flights, or cocktails crafted to showcase the spirit’s character. For those less inclined toward whisky, the menu includes beers, wines, hot beverages and light bites.

Details of special ticketed events to celebrate the opening of the bar are expected in the coming weeks.

Beyond its daytime hours, the bar is also available as part of private evening hires from 7pm onwards.
