Give your dram a designer twist with this stylish two-sided Henry Holland whisky glass

The Singleton x Henry Holland Studio glassware up close

Fashion designer and entrepreneur, Henry Holland, has partnered with The Singleton to produce an eye-catching limited edition two-sided hand-blown whisky glass.

Intended to inspire cocktail connoisseurs, as well as delight whisky aficionados, this limited-edition glassware is available as a pair, gift-boxed with a bottle of The Singleton of Dufftown 15 Year Old single malt scotch whisky.

Designer Holland took inspiration from vintage 1950s glass silhouettes and has added a modern spin.

One end features a martini glass, the other a snifter glass, which has a wide bottom and narrow top, a shape which doubtless helps to amplify the complex aromas in The Singleton.

Henry Holland’s unique whisky glass collab with The Singleton

Henry Holland took further inspiration for the creation from his time spent with The Singleton at Glen Ord distillery in the Scottish Highlands. Seeing parallels between the passion and dedication involved in making The Singleton and that of the glassmaking process, his idea was to create something that spoke to both crafts.

“Everything they do is driven by the pursuit of pleasure and the love of great taste,” says Holland. “Unforgettable evenings are built on shared experiences, elevated by every detail: the stories told, the glass you hold, and the luxurious liquid that flows. I wanted to curate the perfect vessel for these memorable sharing moments.”

During the design process, Holland consulted with Dr. Craig Wilson, The Singleton’s Master of Malts, to ensure he created a glass that pays homage to the traditions of the spirit, as well as celebrating the modernisation of the whisky-drinking experience.

“The Singleton has built a world around the idea of ‘The Endless Evening’,” says Holland. “While I was travelling through Scotland by train, I was lucky enough to see this incredible effect in the sky at night, a beautiful ombré ranging from deep teal right through to rich amber. So, I knew exactly the feeling and ambiance that The Singleton was referring to when we started working on this project.”

The glassware duly features a trail of teal and amber around the outside, with colours blending into each other.

The Singleton of Dufftown 15 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is bottled at 40% ABV, and matured in a mix of European and American oak casks, said to produce a smooth, sweet, approachable malt with a spicy, drying finish.

The Singleton of Dufftown 15 Year Old x Henry Holland glassware set is priced at £224.99, and available here. The Singleton of Duffton 15 Year Old, sans glasses, is available from Master of Malt, priced at £53.
