If you collected Hot Wheels as a kid and love Formula 1, it may be time to renew your addition. Mattel has just unveiled a mouth-watering F1 car collection for 2025. Each 1:64 scale die-cast car is engineered for use on the iconic Hot Wheels orange track, and boasts authentic team livery.
The move follows the success of Hot Wheels first limited edition F1 die-cast collectable in 2024.
Part of a multi-year licensing agreement with Formula 1, the new range includes eight Formula 1 teams, available to buy in various product formats, including Hot Wheels Singles, 5-packs, and Premium series.

The first 1:64 diecast Hot Wheels F1 Singles release to hit the track is Oracle Red Bull Racing, with Williams Racing and Mercedes-AMG Petronas models to follow shortly.
A Hot Wheels F1 5-pack set is launching Summer 2025. It’ll feature McLaren, BWT Alpine, MoneyGram Haas, Visa Cash App RB, and KICK Sauber F1.
Also due Summer is a Hot Wheels Premium Series. These collectables feature a metal body and chassis, authentic team liveries, and Pirelli-branded tyres. Packaged with a display plinth and specialized packaging, they make a stunning addition to any car collection.
There are two racing sets planned. The Hot Wheels Formula 1 Sprint Race Circuit, due Autumn 2025, will feature a kid-powered throttle pedal booster, plus a manual DRS diverter for added strategy. Expect liveries from McLaren, BWT Alpine, and Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team.
Its bigger stablemate, the Hot Wheels Formula 1 Grand Prix Race Circuit, comes with a 2-speed 3-lane booster, manual DRS diverters, and a lap counter tracking up to 25 laps.
Roberto Stanichi, executive vice president of Hot Wheels and global head of vehicles and building sets, expressed excitement about the collaboration: “The next phase of the partnership is all about giving fans the products and experiences that bring the worlds of Hot Wheels and F1 together in a way that has never been done before.”
Formula 1 Chief Commercial Officer Emily Prazer added: “We want to increase our fans’ passion for racing, and these superbly designed cars allow them to experience the excitement of Formula 1 in the palm of their hands.”
The Hot Wheels Formula 1 Singles sell for £2.30, with the Premium Series priced at £10.99 each. The Sprint Race Circuit will sell for £44.99, and the Grand Prix Race Circuit £79.99.
