In a delightful fusion of precision engineering and aviation history, plastic model kit specialist Airfix has teamed up with watch brand AVI-8 to unveil a collection of five special edition themed timepieces.
Packaged in boxes reminiscent of Airfix model kits, this AVI-8 x capsule range pays homage to iconic WWII-era aircraft, including the Hawker Hurricane, Supermarine Spitfire, Lancaster Bomber, and P-51 Mustang.
Combining classic chronograph styling with subtle Airfix branding, the watches feature a 316L stainless steel case, with multi-layered dial and model kit pattern, beneath a mineral lens with anti-reflective coating. Water resistance is 5 ATM.

The collaboration between AVI-8 and Airfix represents a meeting of minds, says AVI-8’s Vishal Tolani: “We know that many of our own fans and enthusiasts are avid modellers and that the Airfix brand is one that stands for detail, passion and fun.”
