As part of its ongoing 200th anniversary celebrations, venerable Scotch whisky brand The Macallan is collaborating with Cirque du Soleil to present a unique, immersive experience at The Macallan Estate.
Blending the craftsmanship of whisky making with the artistic brilliance of Cirque du Soleil, the Spirit experience will run daily (except Sundays) from 9 May to 31 May 2024, at The Macallan Estate in Speyside, Scotland.
The nightly shows promise a sensory extravaganza, set against the picturesque Scottish Highlands; an evening of performance, inspired stagecraft, and bespoke whisky tastings.

We’re told: ‘Cirque du Soleil Spirit will immerse guests in the tale of Davonna, a spiritual guardian of the Scottish Highlands, and Ayla, a young colourist. Ayla, the daughter of a revered Master Whisky Maker, embarks on a quest to recreate a cherished shade of red, leading to encounters with enchanting folkloric figures and a profound reconnection with nature.’
