This is the way: Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 launches on Disney+ March 1

Star Wars: The Mandalorian will return to Disney+ March 1.  The eagerly awaited third season stars Pedro Pascal, Katee Sackhoff, Carl Weathers, Amy Sedaris, Emily Swallow and Giancarlo Esposito. 

Created by Jon Favreau, Lucasfilm’s Star Wars universe spin-off has been a runaway success for the streamer. Set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order, it follows the journey of a lone Mandalorian warrior, Din Djarin (played by a helmet-hidden Pedro Pascal), as he tries to protect Grogu (aka Baby Yoda, aka The Child) from various nefarious factions across the Empire. 

The series takes place some five years after the events in Return of the Jedi and 25 years before The Force Awakens.

The directors of Season 3 include Rick Famuyiwa, Rachel Morrison, Lee Isaac Chung, Carl Weathers, Peter Ramsey and Bryce Dallas Howard.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian helped launch Disney+ and has been credited with reinvigorating the Star Wars franchise. It’s also been nominated and won multiple awards, including the Primetime Emmy Awards, Critics’ Choice Television Awards, and the Golden Globe Awards.

Time to binge seasons one and two!

Jon Favreau is the showrunner/head writer and serves as an executive producer along with Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck are co-executive producers.
