Vive l’Apéritif : ST-GERMAIN stages summer cocktail terrace takeover across the capital

St-Germain cocktail cart waits for customers outside The Londoner hotel

Award-winning French elderflower liqueur ST-GERMAIN has partnered with McQueens Flowers, for a terrace take-over across London, which runs until August 1. The al fresco hotspots list a new entry in what has become a seasonal perennial, Whitcomb at The Londoner, in London’s Leicester Square.

Other pop-ups where you can enjoy a classic cocktail against an Instagrammable-worthy backdrop include the Market Halls (in Victoria, Canary Wharf and Oxford Street), the Marriott (Park Lane) and the Old Compton Brasserie (Soho).

A cooling ST-GERMAIN Spritz, which combines ST-GERMAIN with sparkling wine, sparkling water and a twist of lemon over ice, strikes us as a blooming lovely idea.

Inspired by the 1920s bloom of artistic expression in the Parisian district of Saint-Germain-Des Pres, but created for contemporary tastes, ST~GERMAIN is a show stopping flourish to any occasion!”

If you’ve not experimented with ST-GERMAIN of late, give it a go with gin or champagne: seductively Parisian, with its floral aroma and fruity sweetness, it’s certain to brighten summer in any city.

To create a ST-GERMAIN Spritz, mix 40ml of ST-GERMAIN and 60ml of sparkling wine, then top with 60ml of club soda, and add a twist of lemon.
