Premium German TV maker Loewe has announced a limited edition 77-inch OLED flatscreen to celebrate its 99th anniversary. Only 99 pieces of the bild s.77 TV will be released, but with Red Dot and iF design award wins already secured, you can be sure it’s not your average gogglebox.

Handcrafted with gold-plated elements fused into the design, the model is designed to signify a marriage between luxury design and technology.

The set hails from the company’s headquarters in Kronach, Franconia, and comes with a signature gold plated badge, signifying its numerical position in the collection.

Also included in the package is a gold-plated Loewe signature flag, and gold-plated Loewe signature ring!

The 4k screen supports Dolby Vision alongside HDR10 and HLG, and features Loewe’s Kinematic technology, a mechanism that ‘lifts’ the display when the TV is activated, revealing a high performance soundbar.

This sound system features ten forward-facing drivers and has 120 watts of power. It also uses Mimi Defined audio calibration technology, which claims to adjust audio output to best suit individual hearing abilities, analysing and adjusting sound and tone in real time.
