Timex has launched the Giorgio Galli S1 38 Automatic. Named after the brand’s design director, the stylish debutant builds on the Giorgio Galli S1 Automatic range introduced in 2019, and is distinguished by a more compact 38mm injection-moulded case.
The timepiece reportedly takes inspiration from its creator’s love of photography, its look playing with light and subtle detail. The S1 38 is available in a trio of colourways, Inverness Green, Atlantic Blue and Iceland Stone Grey. Matching rubber straps sport the brand’s quick release spring bar.
Subtle design touches include a classic chamfered edge, double-domed sapphire crystal with triple-layer anti glare coating, and matching sapphire display caseback. Slim indices are paired with a black minutes scale, the Timex logo counterbalanced by a single faux Sapphire gemstone below.
