Mother’s day 2021, more than any other year before it, is the perfect time to treat mum. And perhaps we’re biased, but we think a little luxury is the way to do it. So, if you’re looking for the best luxury mother’s day gift ideas for 2021, you’ve come to the right place.
Now’s the perfect time to order your gifts for mother’s day, which is on Sunday 14 March 2021 in the UK.
Which will you treat your mum to this year? Whether you’re spending it with her near or far, a little luxury love is just a few clicks away…
Jaffa Cake Vodka
The Jaffa Cake craze migrates to vodka, just in time for Mum’s Big Day. We’ve tasted and loved Jaffa Cake Gin, but here pure grain vodka is blended with oranges, fresh peel and cocoa powder for that signature Jaffa sip. ABV is 42%
Nose: Zesty waves of orange, syrupy sponge cake and warming cocoa
Palate: A thick, creamy spirit with huge chocolate orange notes followed by sweet vanilla
Finish: boiled orange sweets with peppery spice and wafts of dark chocolate
What’s more, those cakey and chocolatey notes are just perfect for Easter (makes a change from choccie eggs!). Time to try an Easter Egg Martini cocktail, we reckon!
Here’s how you make one…
- 50ml Jaffa Cake vodka
- 25g Mini easter eggs
- 1 tsp honey
- 25ml crème de cacao (or any other chocolate liqueur)
- 25ml Baileys (other irish creams are available)
- Crush the Mini Eggs and tip onto a plate. Brush the rim of a martini glass with a little of the honey then dip the glass into the crushed Eggs. Pop the glass in the fridge until you need it.
- Pour Jaffa Cake Vodka, chocolate liqueur and irish cream into a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice and shake.
- Strain into your glass and serve.
Jaffa Cake Vodka sells for £27.95 from Master of Malt
