The Real Housewives of Cheshire’s Dawn Ward: My Luxe List

The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward is bringing some much-needed glamour back to our TV screens once again, welcoming us into her stunning Cheshire mansion, Warford Hall (“Oh god, we have had some amazing parties here over the years,” she tells The Luxe Review) and giving us a glimpse into the lavish lifestyles of the most glamorous gang on TV.

Bringing the glamour since the first ever season, the OG housewife, interior designer and super successful business woman is returning for Season 12 of the hit ITVbe show in as much luxury as ever.

And there’s a high standard to hit. As you’d expect, since its beginning, Ward has had some rather extra experiences as a star on the show. The best? “We stayed in the Royal Suite at The Atlantis in Dubai, it was incredible,” she tells us, as she speaks to The Luxe Review in our exclusive interview. Of course, you can take the girl out of Salford, but you can’t take the Salford out of the girl. She’s quick to add, “It was like staying in the Trafford Centre!”

Dawn Ward returns to star in the twelfth season of The Real Housewives of Cheshire

As far as luxuries go this new season though, they’re less material, more spiritual, she tells us, “This season, I’m a calmer Dawn. It might not be a physical luxurious item, but it’s definitely a luxury for me and my family!”

Read on as the star reveals her own Luxe List: the five luxury items that are worth investing in, what she loves about them, and the extravagant items she can’t live without…

Bentley Bentayga

I love cars and have always been a big fan of them – for me, its all about cars, shoes and bags! have a black Bentley Bentayga, and a few Mercedes S Class, E Class, and C Class cars. I only really drive the Bentley, though. It’s my favourite as it is so comfortable. It’s big, luxurious and it’s quick – which is useful because I’m always late.  I love the massage in the seat, the heated steering wheel and seats,  the hands free feature for my phone… and the Bluetooth so my kids can put their earphones in and I don’t have to listen to rubbish! It’s such a beautiful car, I’m very fortunate. You can usually find me in it being driven around by Ashley, going food shopping! Food shopping is actually my favourite type of shopping. Top tip: go to the back of the shelf for the good dates.

Staying at Anantara Layan Phuket resort

My fave holiday destination is Anantara in Phuket, Layan beach. I went alone with Ashley and we never left the hotel. Just relaxing, the service, and the views were stunning – and the people were lovely. I love Thailand as a whole, the place and the people. The weather was amazing around Christmas, and the sunsets are stunning. You can go on excursions to the James Bond island there, and its so beautiful and scenic. The massages are cost effective too! I love Thai food, I also think the price of a night out is reasonable, too.

But then, I’m also a stickler for a cruise, and I would choose MSC Cruises. I went at Christmas around Dubai and it was fantastic. It’s great value for money and all inclusive. For me, cruises are so good for families because they are affordable to most, as everything is already taken into account. It means you can spend your cash on more ice creams! There is so much to do and different places to see, I love it. Plus, it’s so safe for children to play on the ship and have independence. Also on the water, my favourite holiday ever was on a super yacht.  I’m very fortunate to have a few friends who own them.

Dining at Novikov Restaurant & Bar, Mayfair

Novikov in London has got to be my favourite luxury restaurant, but I like The Ivy too – when you go, try the cottage pie! I love everything at Novikov. There is such a great atmosphere at both places, and I don’t feel I need to go on to anywhere else after: I could stay there all night! Especially when it comes to Novikov – I love the ambiance. Every time I go to London, I make sure I go there and I always sit at the same table. They know me by first name now!

The Warford Hall hot tub from Hot Tub House

I love to chill in here with Ashley [Ward, husband] in the evening and relax together. It’s good for muscle stress, too. I loved having this through lockdown and having the whole family there to chill with. All my luxuries are worth the expense for the convenience, happiness and comfort they bring me.

Skulpt, my own luxury clinic in the grounds of my home

I’m trying to cling onto my youth! My favourite memory in my clinic has got to be the first time I had skin tightening. It’s incredible. I’m not looking bad for 95!
