Luxury watch brand Reservoir has partnered with the IDEC Sport racing team to release a special edition timepiece celebrating this year’s Le Mans 24 hour race. Limited to just (appropriately) 24 pieces.
Reservoir was the official watchmaker for the Le Mans 2020 season during IDEC Sport’s participation in the legendary race. Each of the 24 watches, which was also installed in the toolbox of the LMP2 IDEC Sport racing car.
Every purchaser who buys one of the special IDEC Sport Edition 2020 pieces also receives a miniature of the car, complete with authenticity card, as well as an exclusive invitation to the 2021 race and will have the opportunity to meet the IDEC Sport team in action.
Buyers also receive a miniature of the car and an invite to Le Mans 2021…
The IDEC Sport Edition 2020 features a 43mm titanium case with black brushed finish. It uses a self-winding mechanical movement, with a 37 hours power reserve. It also uses a patented proprietary 124-pieces module on ETA 2824-2 caliber, and anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
It’s water-resistant (5ATM or 50m), and comes with a perforated black calf leather strap with stainless steel butterfly folding clasp. An additional NATO strap is provided.
Toyota won this year’s 24 Hours Le Mans, its third consecutive victory, with Sébastien Buemi, Kazuki Nakajima and Brendon Hartley at the wheel. It was Nakajima and Buemi’s third consecutive victory, while Hartley recorded his second win.
