Luxury German electronics brand Loewe has unveiled the Antares OLED, a premium smart TV designed to make the screen as much a part of a home’s interior design as its entertainment system.
The new line arrives with a modular design that allows owners to tailor its appearance to suit their tastes.
Rather than offering a single fixed appearance, the Antares can be customised with interchangeable aluminium on-lays finished in silver or black, alongside a choice of mounting options. These range from conventional wall brackets to rotating floor stands, including versions equipped with Loewe’s Magic Motion motorised rotation system.
The Antares has been created by the Loewe Design & Innovation Studio, engineered by the company’s development team and assembled in Kronach, Germany. Loewe says this modular construction has been designed with longevity in mind, making servicing and future upgrades easier.

Introducing a bespoke entertainment experience
Picture performance is built around 4K Ultra HD OLED panels that are individually calibrated before leaving the Kronach factory. This process is said to deliver accurate colour reproduction, deep black levels and the high contrast expected from OLED technology, while remaining faithful to the filmmaker’s original creative intent. Advanced image processing is paired with support for Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ Adaptive HDR.
Gaming hasn’t been forgotten. HDMI 2.1 connectivity supports 4K playback at refresh rates of up to 144Hz, alongside Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), providing smooth gameplay and reduced input lag for next-gen consoles and gaming PCs.
When it comes to audio, Loewe’s Invisible Sound technology conceals the television’s speakers within its slim chassis, but if you want greater scale you can add the optional Antares soundbar, which delivers 80W of front-firing stereo sound. The set can also operate as the centre speaker within a multi-channel home cinema system.
The screen is built on the Loewe OS9 smart platform, which offers Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Apple TV+, YouTube and Spotify. AI comfort features, voice control, Apple AirPlay support and Matter compatibility allow the Antares to integrate with wider smart home systems. The TV can also be configured for USB recording and timeshifting.
An Art Gallery mode for displaying digital artwork is also available when the TV is idle.
The Loewe Antares OLED range is available now in 42-, 48-, 55- and 65-inch screen sizes, with prices ranging from £2,500 to £4,000. Optional aluminium on-lays, installation systems and the Loewe Antares Soundbar, priced at £300, are also available.
