Hackstons launches ultimate luxury whisky gift guide for Christmas, bottles from £75 to £13,500

Glenturret 25 YO and Christmas tree

If you’re looking for a special gift (or indulgence) this Christmas, pay a visit to Hackstons of Knightsbridge, which has just unveiled its Ultimate Luxury Whisky Gift Guide for Christmas 2025.

The fine spirits and rare bottles specialist is ushering in the festive season with a curated selection of whiskies, assembled by Hackstons’ in-house experts.

More than a retail store, Hackstons Knightsbridge is a whisky and fine wine destination in its own right, a magnet for collectors, connoisseurs, and curious newcomers. Recent tasting events have featured rare bottlings from Diageo’s Prima & Ultima series and Fettercairn’s multisensory tastings.

The new Christmas Gift Guide spans ten bottlings, from £75 to £13,500, and stands as a celebration of global whisky artistry.

Inside Hackstons Top 10 Whiskies for Christmas 2025

Guide highlights include the Teeling 40 Year Old Limited Edition Irish Single Malt (£13,500), limited to just 140 bottles worldwide; the Brora 1981 Prima & Ultima 40 Year Old (£9,000), a Highland treasure from a reborn distillery; and the Glenturret 25 Year Old 2024 release (£1,395), drawn from six hand-selected casks.

Japan’s artistry is represented by the Hibiki Japanese Harmony (£79.50), a delicate, perfectly balanced blended whisky that continues to define the country’s smooth, floral style. Meanwhile, Dalmore’s 30 Year Old 2024 (£4,950) captures the opulent DNA of the distillery at a more rarefied price.

Also featured is a Royal Brackla 21 Year Old (£255) with its honeyed warmth, and a Macallan 18 Year Old Sherry Oak 2023 (£333), a classic expression of sherry cask finesse.

For something bolder, the Stagg Barrel Proof Batch 23C (£250) delivers Kentucky muscle with a hint of sweetness, while Indri Dru Cask Strength Indian Single Malt (£75) brings a vibrant, emerging flavour profile to the mix.

Each bottle is available in-store or online at hackstons.com, with personalised gift consultations offered throughout November and December.

A Hackstons whisky tasting to remember

Hackstons invited The Luxe Review to experience several of the featured whiskies (plus some surprises) at an intimate tasting, hosted by retail manager Sam Wilson.

The Hibiki Harmony opened proceedings with characteristic elegance, sweet with honey and vanilla, before giving way to the English Distillery Sherry Cask, a punchy and satisfying single malt from Norfolk.

Then came a rare treat: the Kingsbury Invergordon 1971 51-Year-Old Single Grain, an uncommonly mature dram that proved as intriguing as it was delicious.

The Glenturret 25 Year Old was arguably the evening’s quiet star: smooth, sublime and complex. And to close, a Bowmore 25 Year Old Islay Single Malt –  smoky, resonant, with notes of roasted pineapples and ripe bananas.

As Hackstons’ spokesperson noted, “This Christmas, we’re inviting our guests to celebrate the stories within the bottles themselves. From a £75 modern classic to a £13,500 collector’s gem, every gift in our guide carries the spirit of craftsmanship, history, and generosity that defines Hackstons.”
