Home security specialist Swann has introduced the EVO Wireless Solar security camera, a compact, fully wireless system designed to provide year-round, subscription-free home monitoring. The new model features a built-in solar panel with 2K Full HD imaging, for a fuss-free, always-on security solution.
The camera is built for durability and versatility. Weatherproof construction means it can cope with extreme heat, heavy rain, or snow, while integrated solar charging provides enough energy for daily use with just 45 minutes of sunlight.
This self-powered approach removes the need for regular battery swaps or wired connections, allowing the camera to be placed freely around the home.

No wires, no fees, just security
The camera offers a 120° wide-angle field of view, while advanced sensors deliver intelligent motion and heat detection; infrared night vision ensures clear images even in low-light conditions.
There’s also two-way audio that allows homeowners to communicate with visitors in real time via the Swann Security app. The app also provides free local storage on the included 16GB MicroSD card, so no ongoing subscription costs.
If you ask us, it sounds like a steal – but that’s probably not the best turn of phrase to use here.
The EVO Wireless Solar security camera is available from Swann.com, priced at £99.99($129.99 / AUD $179.95)
