Two of hip-hop’s most enduring icons have turned their lyrical legacy into liquid luxury with the launch of Still G.I.N. The second offering from the beverage brand co-founded by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, follows the launch of their ready-to-drink Gin & Juice canned cocktail in 2024. The duo are now looking to enter the celebrity spirit charts.
While Gin & Juice paid homage to Snoop’s laid-back 1993 anthem, Still G.I.N. draws inspiration from Still D.R.E., the 1999 Dre track that cemented the pair’s place in music history. As with their studio sessions, the two artists were hands-on in crafting every element of the spirit, from the flavour profile to the visual design.
“This is not a spirit that we’re just putting our name on,” says Dr. Dre. “Just like we did with Beats, everything is us from the ground up.”

Crafted using a copper pot still and vapour distillation methods, Still G.I.N. embraces traditional techniques with a modern flair. This is not chill-filtered, preserving the natural oils that give it a rich mouthfeel and deeper complexity.
Snoop, never shy about his affection for gin, described it as “just so good,” praising the fine-tuned balance that the pair worked tirelessly to achieve. “Together, we ain’t gonna do nothing regular,” he added.

The spirit delivers a citrus-forward hit, with mandarin, lemon, grapefruit, and orange on the nose. The flavour profile is a blend of juniper, coriander and a dash of black pepper, balanced by gentle floral notes from jasmine, rose petals and cherry blossom. The result is said to be a fresh, fragrant, highly mixable gin with enough complexity to sip neat.
Just as much attention has gone into the packaging. Designed by internationally renowned creative Ini Archibong, the 70cl honeycomb-textured bottle is both tactile and sculptural.
Still G.I.N. By Dre and Snoop is available now via www.dreandsnoop.com, priced £38.

Mystery Malt has returned for its sixth instalment, and according to its creators at Thompson Brothers, it is the biggest release yet. The concept remains delightfully simple: every whisky bottle looks identical, costs the same £65, and arrives concealed beneath a tamper-proof capsule.
