ABV 58%, £169 The Whisky Exchange – Limited to 358 bottles This exclusive Highland whisky, bottled in partnership with Berry Bros. & Rudd, was matured in a single sherry butt for 21 years. The result is a whisky that balances Macduff’s signature fruit-forward character with the depth and richness imparted by the cask.
Tasting notes speak of stewed orchard fruits, dark cherries, and a hint of cinnamon spice on the nose, with layers of dried fruits, walnuts, and chocolate orange, complemented by a subtle oak influence, on the palate. The finish is said to be long and warming, with lingering notes of spiced plum and toasted almonds.
