The whiskey is triple distilled and blended from a combination of both ex-Bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, with the intriguing addition of hand-selected sweet chestnut casks.
The latter is said to contribute notes of toffee, cacao and toasted almonds.

Jameson Triple Triple Chestnut Tasting Notes
Bottled at an ABV of 40%, the expression reportedly offers aromas of toffee fudge, vanilla, and hazelnut chocolate, while subtle fruit notes, of sweet pear and green apple, linger in the background.
On the palate, expect luscious creamy fudge and vanilla, with mild nutty undertones, toasted wood and gentle spices. The finish lingers, before exiting to oak and chestnut.
