Marshall has teamed up with Awake NY, the streetwear powerhouse from Queens, to release a limited-edition Acton III Bluetooth speaker. The partnership merges Marshall’s signature rock sound with a design language inspired by the cultural vibrancy of New York City.
This is the first product collaboration between Marshall and Awake NY; overlapping brand logos on the speaker grille literally merge the two identities.
The Acton III Awake NY Edition features a distinctive black-on-black checkered debossing with blue dial accents, said to draw inspiration from the diversity and energy of 1990s downtown New York.

The speaker offers Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, plus a 3.5 mm input jack for connecting a local source. Sustainability is also at the forefront of the design, says Marshall, with a PVC-free build featuring 70 per cent recycled plastic and vegan leather.
Tipping the scales at 2.85kg, and measuring a compact 260 x 170 x 150 mm, this new Acton employs a 30W Class D amp for the woofer, and two 15W Class D amps for the tweeters. That’s a lot of volume for its size.
Rock ‘n’ roll heritage collides with urban streetwear
“This collaboration with Marshall celebrates everything Awake NY stands for: the intersection of culture, creativity, and community,” says Awake NY founder Angelo Baque. “Together, we’ve created something that embodies the energy of our shared values, offering not only functionality but a meaningful experience for everyone who appreciates the transformative power of music and design.”
Beyond the product launch, the collaboration extends into the community through a special event series, ‘Live From Awake NY’, which spotlights emerging musical talent in New York City. Marshall and Awake NY have also pledged a financial donation to the Queens Museum’s Queens Teens Institute for Art and Social Justice, further supporting the next generation of artists and creatives.
The Marshall Acton III Awake NY Edition speaker is priced at £259.99 ($279.99 USD / €299 EUR), and is available February 13.
