Ultra bright OLED panels, advanced AI picture processing and Hi-Fi grade audio are just three of the attractions of Philips 2025 TV offerings, unveiled at an exclusive home entertainment showcase in Barcelona this week.
Philips hopes to hook high-end buyers with two flagship OLED tellies, the OLED+950 and the OLED+910. The first features a raft of state-of-the-art display tech, while the second majors on premium Bowers & Wilkins sound and a sleek, contemporary aesthetic.
Both the OLED+950 and OLED+910 are built around the latest Primary RGB Tandem OLED panel, dubbed META Technology 3.0 by Philips. They also employ advanced P5 AI picture and sound processing, and four-sided Ambilight, delivering an immersive and visually striking lighting experience.

The OLED+950, expected in September in 65- and 77-inch sizes, boasts a 9th Gen P5 AI Dual Engine processor. I had a chance to take an early look at this model, and can confirm it does indeed look significantly brighter than last year’s comparable flagship screen. It also has deeper colour reproduction. The META 3.0 panel claims to offer a peak brightness of 3700 nits, offering exceptional dynamic depth, even in well-lit environments.
Philips’ P5 AI processor continues to evolve, bringing superior real-time image optimisation. The AI-driven processing engine now analyses image elements frame by frame, dynamically enhancing detail, contrast, and motion handling on the fly, crewting a more compelling and refined picture.
Additionally, Philips boffins have refined its AI Machine Learn Sharpness V3 system, AI Smart Bit Enhancement (V4), and AI Perfect Reality (V4) features, further improving fine details and texture. The AI algorithms can leverage extensive data sources, including metadata, source information, environment sensing, and big data analysis – that’s a lot of heavy lifting.
With a focus on high-end picture performance, the OLED+950 is tailored for home theatre enthusiasts who already own premium audio systems. Nevertheless, its built-in 70W 2.1 sound system promises an impressive performance.
For those seeking a more integrated premium experience, the OLED+910 provides an elegant all-in-one solution. Available in 55-, 65-, and 77-inch sizes from June, this model incorporates a single-chip 9th Gen P5 AI processor, four-sided Ambilight, and an enhanced Bowers & Wilkins 3.1 sound system.
This audio setup builds upon its predecessor, the OLED+909, and features front-firing left, centre, and right speakers hidden behind a Kvadrat fabric grille. Each channel contains two 30mm x 50mm mid-range drivers and 19mm titanium dome tweeter with Nautilus-inspired tube technology.
A dedicated decoupled bass enclosure at the rear houses a 75mm subwoofer, supported by four passive radiators, ensuring powerful and immersive sound.
Philips demonstrated the sound system on the OLED+910 with a selection of music tracks, and an action sequence from A Quiet Place: Day One. The soundstage was wide and impressive, making good use of its 81W of amplification. To deepen bass, the set was coupled to an external subwoofer.
Both OLED models run the latest iteration of Google’s smart TV OS, offering access to popular streaming apps, voice controls, and AI-powered recommendations.
Gamers will also appreciate an updated Game Bar, with auto-detection of game title, and enhanced colour helper mode, game auto-detection, and individual profile application.
There’s also minimap zoom. Gamers can zoom the minimap, move it to a different location on the screen and alter its transparency.
When it comes to design, the OLED+950 features a minimalist black metal bezel and diamante angled black sheen feet, while the OLED+910 complements its black metal frame bezel with the frontal sound system, dressed in grey fabric.
To cap off the unveiling of its flagship OLED TV models in Barcelona, Philips held a spectacular Moulin Rouge themed party.
Philips 2025 TV range: OLED, Mini LED and LED
Of course, Philips 2025 TV range doesn’t begin and end there. The Philips OLED+950 and OLED+910 will be joined by a diverse range of cheaper OLED, Mini-LED, and Direct LED models designed to cater to different viewing preferences and budgets. Here’s a detailed look at what else is coming:
Launching in June, the OLED810 series will employ OLED EX panels, available in 42-, 48-, 55-, 65-, and 77-inch screen sizes. The 55-inch and larger models feature a peak HDR brightness of 1500 nits. Powered by 9th Gen P5 AI processing and featuring three-sided Ambilight, and an integrated 70W 2.1 sound system (50W for the 42-inch model).
For those seeking OLED technology at an even more accessible price point, the OLED760 series arrives in May. Available in 48-, 55-, 65-, and 77-inch sizes, this series also utilizes OLED EX panels but with a peak brightness limited to 1000 nits. The OLED760 uses the 7th Gen P5 AI processor, has three-sided Ambilight, and runs the Titan OS Smart TV platform.
Philips is expanding its Mini LED range with two new series in 2025. The flagship MLED950, set to launch in September, offers high brightness Mini LED technology in 65- and 75-inch screen sizes. Due in May, the MLED910 is a mid-range Mini LED option, available in 55-, 65-, 75-, and 85-inch sizes. It features step-down P5 processing, three-sided Ambilight, and the same Titan OS platform.
