Fabergé has partnered with director Tim Burton to create the Fabergé x Beetlejuice Beetlejuice egg objet, a one-of-a-kind creation that fuses Fabergé’s legendary craftsmanship with Burton’s gothic sensibilities.

This unique marriage of technical wizardry and whimsical vision, is slated for completion and unveiling in 2025.

The World of Tim Burton exhibition recently opened at the Design Museum in London, and will run until 2025. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is one of the biggest box office hits of 2024.

This unique marriage of technical brilliance, and whimsical vision, is slated for completion and unveiling in 2025…

Fabergé has tapped into Burton’s distinctive visual world for this unique collaboration, weaving together themes from the Beetlejuice franchise with its iconic egg format. Known for his vivid gothic style, Burton collaborated closely with Fabergé’s creative team, led by Creative Director Josina von dem Bussche-Kessell and designer Liisa Tallgren, to develop a jewelled egg filled with surreal artistry and movement.

Long time Burton collaborator and Academy Award-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood played a vital role in developing the design. Together, the trio have crafted a theatrical Fabergé piece that fits perfectly with Burton’s design aesthetic.

Fabergé x Beetlejuice egg design and inspiration

The Fabergé Tim Burton egg embodies a dramatic black-and-white motif, reminiscent of Beetlejuice’s striped suit and the film’s eerie Afterlife corridor. The shell, assembled from ‘leaves’ in an intricate stitch design, hints at Delores, a character introduced in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

The leaves open in a gull-wing fashion to reveal a rotating wedding cake, inspired by the wedding scene, where Lydia Deetz is almost forced into marriage with the mischievous Betelgeuse. Inside the cake lies a hidden gem: a customizable celebration ring, adorned with a responsibly sourced 2.2-carat Mozambican ruby from Gemfields.

The Fabergé x Beetlejuice Beetlejuice egg objet will complete its journey from concept to reality in 2025.

Collectors and fans eager to own this one-of-a-kind creation should contact Fabergé directly about acquisition.
