Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin Pro Edition wireless speaker boasts improved audio and new colour options

Bowers Wilkins Zeppelin Pro Edition in bedroom

One of the most recognisable wireless speakers in the world has just received a significant makeover. Bowers & Wilkins has announced the Zeppelin Pro Edition, featuring new colour options and a host of audio improvements under the hood.

Key to its upgraded performance are the introduction of Titanium Dome tweeters, previously seen on Bowers & Wilkins 600 Series loudspeakers; these are mounted at the far edges of the Zeppelin enclosure, fully isolated from vibrations generated by neighbouring drive units.

The new tweeters are paired with 90mm midrange drivers using Bowers & Wilkins proprietary Fixed Suspension Transducer FST technology, said to offer a more open midrange, and revised digital signal processing to better fill your listening room with sound.

Adding deep bass is a centrally mounted 150mm subwoofer.

Multiroom functionality is built in, based on Bowers & Wilkins’ own Formation range of high-resolution wireless speakers. There’s support for AirPlay2, Bluetooth aptX Adaptive and Spotify Connect; the Bowers & Wilkins Music app offers easy access to Deezer, Last.fm, Qobuz, TIDAL, TuneIn and other streaming services.

The Zeppelin Pro Edition is available from today, priced at £699 ($799).
