Imagine the allure of the open sea, the luxury of a Sunseeker superyacht, and the exclusivity of the Monaco Grand Prix – all without the burdens of full yacht ownership. Meros Yachtsharing’s innovative Flexshare co-ownership model is making this dream a reality, offering a blend of flexibility, exclusivity, and freedom that redefines the yachting experience.

At the forefront of the yacht fractional ownership market, Meros is inviting individuals to enjoy superyacht opulence without the heavy responsibilities of full ownership.

Its offerings include a Quarter-Share Ownership, where clients own a quarter of a Sunseeker superyacht, and the Flexshare Model, which emphasises flexibility and personal preference. Flexshare owners get to use the yacht whenever they wish, for as long as they want, at premium rates.

As the exclusive contractual partner for Sunseeker superyachts in Europe, Meros enjoys access to over ten prime yachting hotspots across Germany, the Balearics, Malta, and soon the UK.

Whether you’re a seasoned yacht enthusiast or a novice sailor, yacht sharing provides a unique opportunity to indulge in this luxury lifestyle without the typical hassles.

“Meros Yachtsharing is not just another co-ownership programme,” says CEO, Philip Oehme. “We are actively innovating, and we are revolutionising this growing sector of the market by giving our clients not just the superyacht experience they want, but the elite lifestyle experiences that are associated with superyacht ownership.”

For the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix, Meros Yachtsharing curated an extraordinary experience for its Flexshare co-owners. For one weekend in late May, Monaco was abuzz with the roar of engines and the glamour of superyachts, as Flexshare members enjoyed the event from the deck of Blue Infinity One, Meros’ signature Sunseeker 95, perfectly positioned at a coveted trackside berth.

The exclusive programme kicked off on Friday, May 24, with Flexshare co-owners arriving at their luxury hotel in Cannes. The excitement began with a helicopter or tender transfer to Monaco, where they joined Blue Infinity One just in time for the Formula 3 qualifying.

The day was filled with racing action from various formulas, culminating in a Sunseeker meet-and-greet, a cocktail party on the Netjets balcony, and an exquisite dinner in Cannes.

“Every year, I’m reminded why Meros is such a unique way to enjoy time on the water,” said Esteban Ocon, BWT Alpine F1 driver and Meros brand ambassador. “Meeting other members and seeing the yacht showcased in Monaco always feels special.

“There’s a strong sense of community and mutual respect for what we can achieve together, a feeling that echoes my world in F1. Meros offers incredible experiences typically reserved for the few, opening them up to those with a genuine love or interest in yachting and motorsport. I couldn’t be happier to continue our journey together this season.”

On Saturday, the fun continued with a day full of racing, including the highlight of Charles Leclerc securing pole position at his home Grand Prix. Co-owners got to visit the paddock, mingle with the racing elite, and enjoy a party with a DJ on board Blue Infinity One. The evening wrapped up with a stylish dinner at Beefbar and drinks on the yacht, as Monaco’s port transformed into a beach club.

Sunday delivered the pièce de résistance: the Formula 1 Grand Prix. Flexshare co-owners watched in awe as the world’s best drivers navigated the tight streets of Monaco, with home hero Charles Leclerc clinching his first victory in front of an ecstatic crowd. The perfect end to a weekend that encapsulated the very essence of luxury and excitement.

Meros Yachtsharing CEO, Philip Oehme, added: “It was a spectacular weekend in the company of our co-owners and with our perfect position to enjoy the racing on the track. This is just a taste of what our Flexshare owners get to enjoy each year, above and beyond the turn-key, hassle-free cruising experience that comes with access to the Flexshare fleet across the Med and Middle East. Chocolate bucatini as a main course sounds like a dare. Let’s start with the headline act: bucatini al cioccolato. Thick strands…
